First-time visitors often admire the striking interior spaces of the Academy of Vocal Arts at 1920 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA. Fanciful carved flowers and leaves, leaded glass transoms, rare mahogany woodwork, and massive carved pilasters evoke delight in many of AVA’s Opera Theatre patrons.

6 Αυγ 2021 · Following a successful, inaugural season held online, the Academy of Vocal Arts has announced its 2021-22 season of live performances. Based in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square, AVA draws more than 200 singers globally each year for their program, of which less than 30 are chosen to become Resident Artists.
