Description. Simple Auction addon, makes it easier to search, buy, and post auctions. Sell Tab: Post multiple auctions, Custom stack size, See item current auctions and history, Undercut settings.
Informant displays additional information about items in their tooltips: buy price; sell price; item level; what quests, classes or professions use the item; the value of the item produced by a recipe; etc. Informant can also tell you what vendors sell a given item.
You scan the auction house daily or more frequently using any of the auction house addons (tsm/auctioneer/auctionator). That way your addon (which ever you use) can build a database of prices. To clarify, if you use auctionator, for example, you need to scan the auction house with auctionator.
