There was a time when you could drive down to Acid Park and see tons of whirligigs, but shortly before his death, they started moving them to downtown Wilson and now most can be found at the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park.
What is known to the teenage populace as “Acid Park”, a local thrill seeking destination in Wilson North Carolina, plays host to exactly one of these kinds of urban legends. The story begins just like any typical cliché teen ghost story would. A young girl is driving home from the prom, of course.

19 Απρ 2011 · Vollis Shop Rd, Lucama, NC Directions: From Whirligig Park in Wilson, drive southeast on Goldsboro St. S. for 1.5 miles. Bear right at the stoplight onto US Hwy 301. Drive 1.5 miles. Just after the little bridge across Contentnea Creek, turn right onto Wiggins Mill Rd. Drive seven miles.
