Request and pay for a test date change. Log in to your MyACT account and select "Make Changes to Your Registration" or call ACT Registration at 319.337.1270 by the regular deadline for the new test date. You will be charged the full fee for the new test date in addition to the test date change fee.

The table below provides the dates for ACT registration and testing for 2023 and 2024. Note that there is a registration deadline and a late registration deadline, which incurs a fee. Ideally, you’ll want to register by the deadline, giving you more time to prepare for the exam.
Please note that no matter when or how you register for the ACT, you must always pay a test registration fee, which will be either $68 for the ACT without Writing or $93 for the ACT with Writing. (If you qualify for an ACT fee waiver, however, you won't have to pay this fee.) Deadline. Fee.
The test dates and registration deadlines for 2024 have been confirmed by ACT, Inc. through July 2025. The score release dates are based on estimates of past score releases. *The first date is when multiple-choice scores come out; the second date is when complete scores (with the Writing section) come out.
