Adamantite armor is a Hardmode armor set. Like most early-Hardmode armors, has three different helmet options, allowing the player to focus on magic, melee or ranged combat; each option changing the armor's set bonus.
This guide will help you decide on which armor sets to use at various points in game progression. Especially later in the game, bonuses to melee speed and movement speed are generally not considered as impactful as direct offensive bonuses, making them a lower priority.
2 Ιαν 2024 · There are three main ways to get armour: crafting, buying from NPCs, or defeating bosses and enemies. Each piece of armour has a defence stat that reduces damage taken, so the higher the defence, the better. Some of the best crafted armours are Hellstone, Molten, and Adamantite.
Crafting all five pieces requires 78 Adamantite Bars, made from 390 Adamantite Ore. The Adamantite Breastplate and Leggings grant 14 / 10 defense respectively. A full set of Adamantite armor grants a total of 28 / 46 / 32 defense, being in order the Adamantite Headgear, Helmet, and Mask.
Armor can be obtained opening chests, defeating mobs, exchanging Emeralds with village merchant, luxury merchant, mystery merchant, piglin merchant, and from Gifts provided by heroes made by other players through the gift wrapper. Armor can have up to three player selected enchantments applied to apply additional properties.
12 Οκτ 2019 · As a Melee armor it is more of a sidegrade to Adamantite: one has better stats, the other has a set bonus that makes it a better for mobbing. The Frost Chestplate (20 defense, +11% Melee and Ranged Crit) makes for some very strong hybrid armors at this stage in the game.
