25 Νοε 2024 · I've enjoyed fishing a dry dropper the last couple years. My question is regarding the dry fly setup. I've been tying my dropper directly to the hook portion of the hopper. This has worked fine, although I've lost some of my droppers as most of my hoppers have been tied on barbless hooks.

4 Αυγ 2015 · I've had success with an adjustable dry dropper using the Dorsey indicator method. I take a fly like a chubby and run the line through the eye a decent distance. Then I loop the rubber band like you would to put the indicator on and put the whole fly through the band in place of the loop of line you would normally use.
