- ADNI Data
ADNI participants are assigned to a Schedule of Events (SOE) based on various factors, such as clinical diagnosis (unimpaired, MCI, AD/dementia). During each visit, the SOE dictates what data is collected. This data is made available to approved researchers.

ADNI Procedures Manual Draft 5-16-05.pmd. Biofluids: Collection, Processing And Shipment Of Samples. The collection of biofluids is central to the goals of the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative. The development of valid and reliable biomarkers for AD is needed to:
There are two application processes depending on what ADNI resources you are looking for: 1) Data* (e.g. imaging, genomic, clinical data, etc.) and. 2) Biospecimen* samples (e.g. blood plasma, DNA, brain tissue, etc.) *All ADNI data and biospecimens are de-identified.
The ADNI study is made up of four distinct phases – ADNI1, ADNIGO, ADNI2, and ADNI3 – in each of which new participants were recruited while existing participants from earlier phases continued to be monitored. Our main dataset is the ADNI Merge dataset, from the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative.
Researchers will use your samples and information as part of the ADNI Blood Biomarker study. This includes ADNI study teams based at the University of Pennsylvania and Indiana University, as well as researchers at C2N Diagnostics. Your sample will be identified only by an ID number.
