Axis & Allies Europe (released in 1999) is set in the Spring of 1941 during World War II. Operation Barbarossa is in sight for Germany to attack the Soviet Union, and so to is the Battle of Britain.
If the Allies can successfully convert their peace-time industries into war machines, Germany’s fate will be sealed. It takes the rules from Max's Advanced Rules for Axis and Allies and adds new rules covering such subjects as Armored Spearheads and Encirclements, Partisans, Economic Investment and a more advanced system for Convoys. These rules may be used separately or together to add to A&A Europe.
Rules. When Axis & Allies Europe’s second run went to press, the designer used the oppportunity to clarify and edit the rulebook. Most of these changes were cosmetic, designed to make the book more readable and to clear up confusion. However, there are two new rules which are a change from the first printing.
