You may access the automated system to proactively search for jobs and fill your own schedule and review or cancel an assignment. Special provisions/permissions may be granted for substitute teachers and substitute secretaries in long term assignments (10 days or more) with permission from Substitute Services. All substitutes are required to take a lunch.
The first three sessions of the training cover all fundamentals essential to substitute teachers including leadership, professionalism and ethics, legal obligations, skills assessment, stress management, diversity awareness, bullying prevention, and foundations of classroom management.
