The skill training guides mostly focus on methods that give a good bit of experience for the time invested (XP/hour). Early in the game, completing quests is often more efficient than alternative training methods, so consider checking out the Optimal quest guide .
If you're going to start rs3, my suggestion is to take 2 weeks and level up in ftp first, then buy a bond from the GE. I did the following things. And I made money using the following ftp methods. ~8 mil farming lumbridge chickens with magic (7 hours) ~Craft mining and fishing urns for increased mining xp and some easy crafting levels. (2 hours)
The "new" guide has more recommendations, but can still be done with the original guide's method, if only slightly less efficiently. I've also attached a picture of my inventory, equipment, and the things I use most during farming runs on my action bar.
