When installing XP, it is possible to load an AHCI driver from a floppy disk (!!!) or slipstream them onto the install CD. However, you want to add the driver to an existing installation. The first step is to determine the manufacturer of your storage controller, or at least motherboard chipset.
27 Μαρ 2022 · This is my own made iso file of windows xp professional with the unofficial sp4 with AHCI drivers and so many updates that could be integrated using nlite. I also added a tool called windows update minitool and here is a link on how to use it to download as many updates as possible.
Make a bootable XP disc with https://www.nliteos.com/ with the drivers preinstalled and reinstall with AHCI mode enabled by default! Just look for a guide online on how to use this software its not so hard!
22 Δεκ 2012 · 1) Download your upto date Chip Set Drivers. 2) Set IDE mode in BIOS. 3) Install Windows XP. 4) Install your upto date Chip Set Drivers . 5) Shut the PC down. 6) Set AHCI mode in BIOS. 7) Reboot the PC your PC will now boot in AHCI mode. NOTE: You may done to reboot two or three time. All Done.
20 Νοε 2006 · Restart your computer, enter BIOS and switch to AHCI-mode. Save, exit and load Windows XP which should now start properly, discover the SATA AHCI Controller and ask for a driver. Abort the whole Windows-Driver-Installation procedure and run IATA621_CD.EXE instead to take care of the installation.
5 Ιουν 2016 · Install first Windows XP 32bit on the SSD with IDE mode enabled. Download Intel® Matrix Storage Manager. IATA89CD.exe. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/17882/Intel-Matrix-Storage-Manager. Navigate to. C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager\winall\Driver. Copy/paste all files from that folder into C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.
