Implemented a camera selection system (available in the configuration window) for people using several webcams, as requested in #22. Added configuration support to the cameras (brightness and gain). If the hardware does not support them, they will ignored.
opentrack is an application dedicated to tracking user's head movements and relaying the information to games and flight simulation software. opentrack allows for output shaping, filtering, and operating with many input and output devices and protocols; the codebase runs Microsoft Windows, Apple OSX (currently unmaintained), and GNU/Linux.

26 Απρ 2021 · You run AITrack first, do a couple of settings and enable the webcam, then run OpenTrack and set some settings there too (both use your local IP address and port number, so it's not connecting via online, so no need to fret about that).
If you already have a Webcam you can instead use the free OpenTrack head tracker. It may not track as smooth as TrackIR but hey – it’s free! This guide will help you install OpenTrack and get it setup for Elite Dangerous, DCS World and any other space- or flight-sim that supports head tracking.
Opentrack released a face tracking filter in their base program, here are my settings and more or less a rough sketch how to set it up. I have a real good time with it. You do need a basic webcam for it to work.
