Are they still secure? The products were discontinued in 2018. Do they get security updates when I run a system update?
The AirPort Express is a portable router from Apple that has a 3.5 line out in it. You can hook it up to a receiver or powered speakers and play music on it from any Apple Device. Apple added AirPlay 2 support to it, so you can use it for multi-room streaming.

23 Ιουν 2021 · I have 2 newer Airport Express. I've bought an Allo Boss2, and a couple other streamers that ultimately didn't work better and probably didn't spec better than AirPlay 2. Also and a big plus the Airport Express has no clicking when the bit rate changes. So what streamer works best? I have Apple Music and Amazon Music.
