There are many variables that would cause the pet door to not unlock with the key. Be sure to test the key on the door after each step to see if the issue is resolved. Replace the battery in the key with a new one, making sure to push in as you turn it tightly to locked.
If the clock does not receive the time signal it can be set manually. TO SET THE CLOCK MANUALLY Press and hold TIME SET button for 3 seconds, the RCC (for RC feature) ON will flash.
