My son has surfed the crap out of his poly Al Merrick Pod Mod and I'm thinking about getting him another one. He loves it. https://cisurfboards.com/products/pod-mod-1. Is there something similar to the Pod Mod I may want to have him try?

Hi, intermediate here looking for comparisons on Lost puddle jumper and Al Merrick Pod Mod. They're both pretty intermediate friendly I'd say, I've surfed them both and they feel quite different. But I've only tried them a couple times in different conditions and with my skill level I find it hard to pinpoint what exactly is different.
