24 Ιουν 2021 · To apply for a low-interest, SBA disaster loan, call 800-659-2955 (TTY: 800-877-8339) or complete an online application at https://disasterloan.sba.gov. The deadline to apply for an SBA physical damage disaster loan is June 25, 2021.
After LTRCs recognize and confirm unmet needs, the recovery committee can submit funding requests to the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund. The GERF committee then reviews the application and makes a decision based on available funds and scope of the event statewide.
13 Απρ 2023 · While the March 16, 2023, disaster assistance application deadline has passed, there is still help available for survivors of Alabama’s Jan. 12 severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes.
16 Ιαν 2023 · Survivors can apply for disaster assistance at disasterassistance.gov, by using the FEMA mobile app, or by calling 800-621-3362. The helpline is open, and help is available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time in most languages.
The Alabama Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund (GERF) is a “fund of last resort” for unmet needs of families and individuals working to recover from disasters in our state. There is a specific process for application through local Long Term Recovery Committees (LTRCs).
