20 Αυγ 2015 · Mine working solution was to open Apps and Features, then select the app that's not working (which were Alarms and Clock and also Calc for me), click on Advanced options and then Reset the app. It worked for me.

Follow these steps to set an alarm on your Mac: Download Wake Up Time from the Mac App Store. Open the app and set a time for the alarm from the menu on the right. From the “Sound” menu, select an alarm tone and set the volume for the alert. If you enable “Fade,” the alarm will get progressively louder.
Alarms and timers work even if the app is closed or your device is locked. If you see a warning that notifications only show if the device is awake, make sure your device doesn’t go to sleep (Go to Start > Settings > System > Power & sleep to adjust your device’s sleep settings).
10 Αυγ 2021 · You can change the notification settings for the Alarms & Clock App through the system settings. Click the Settings button to view all of the available options. The Settings button is located at the bottom-left of the Alarm & Clock app, and has a cog icon.
