To obtain a new Alaska Concealed Handgun Permit: Before applying for an ACHP, please read Alaska Statutes 18.65.700 through 18.65.790 and Alaska Regulations 13 AAC 30.010 through 13 AAC 30.900 and ensure you meet all the qualifications and requirements. Your signature on the application affirms you understand these laws.
You must complete a handgun training course approved by the Department of Public Safety. Within one year after completion of the training course, a completed application must be delivered in person to an Alaska State Trooper office.
