Your grade will be broken down into 3 categories: Summative Assessments, Formative Assessments, and Final Exam. When we cover a new lesson, you will be assigned homework. This homework is expected to be completed the following class period. (At the end of the syllabus is IWA’s Late Work Policy).

Algebra 3 Syllabus Ms. Miller There are three objectives of this class: • Prepare students for College Algebra • Explore Algebra 2 topics in more depth and detail • Learn problem-solving techniques Preparation for College Algebra College Algebra is a course that usually covers both years of Algebra as well as some trigonometry.
Students in Algebra III will be challenged to increase their understanding of algebraic, graphical and numerical methods to analyze, translate and solve quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions. Modeling real world situations is an important part of this course.
