Your laptop doesn't come with a gsync capable display, so frames that are less than the refresh rate of the monitor will feel choppy. You will want to lower your graphic settings to allow for your frame rate to reach the high level of 240 frames. Another option might be to adjust your refresh rate.
Most likely cable / bandwidth issues. I have the 2720hf which is fine with 144hz but as soon as I have it set to 240hz the screen turns off every now and then while gaming.... very strange behavior.
