Friends and family can create and fund an AdvancePay prepaid telephone account, and create, send and receive e-messages (very similar to email) with inmates from the ConnectNetwork.com website. The instructions below will walk.

Set Up Your Phone Account: Make sure you have an active account with the phone service provider used by the correctional facility (e.g., GTL/ConnectNetwork, Securus, IC Solutions).
You have to add money when you set up the account. If you have an account already, they will allow you to add the new number from InmateAid - it'll get you at least 50% off, sometimes more. There is a rate calculator on the GlobalTel*Link site to verify the savings you get with the InmateAid number.
The Request2Call® phone service lets you send a FREE notification through the ConnectNetwork website or mobile app to the inmate letting them know you’d like a phone call*. To check availability, sign in to your Connect Network account.
