The AXA Series quick change tool post from Aloris supports a lathe swing up to 12 inches. This wedge-type tool post has perfect rigidity to deliver chatter-free performance and avoid vibrations. Moreover, it can be repeatedly used when compared to the piston-type tool posts.
The AXA quick change tool post is designed for lathes with swing from 7” to 12”. We carry the Aloris brand (PN 3876 ) and a less expensive version of a similar design (PN 2280 ). BXA or Series 200
21 Μαρ 2021 · I have a used Aloris AXA piston style quick change tool post. Today I installed an Aloris tool holder and closed the tool post with a little more force than usual. To my surprise the tool post loosened up again, probably because I went over the top of a cam inside.
