Babka is a sweet bread with chocolate filling. The dough is rolled up with the chocolate much like the cinnamon swirl loaf, but then the dough is halved and twisted and braided in such a way that the result is a striking, swirling, marbled masterpiece.

You can use a stand mixer with a dough hook, or make the dough by hand with a large bowl and wooden spoon.

Second, the USA Pan has a natural silicone lining, which, combined with parchment paper, makes cleanup a snap. If you don’t have a Pullman pan, a typical 8.5 x 4.5 x 2.75-inch loaf pan will also work well.
