Expedia and Orbitz are generally regarded as reliable sites, but I always do what KVE has suggested, namely price up options using airline flight plus hotel offers and see how they compare to booking the two separately.
It seems the reviews on Expedia are a little more current than Orbitz and Travelocity, but isn't Orbitz and Travelocity owned by Expedia as well now?

The alternatives I am considering are Orbitz, Travelocity, and Cheap tickets. (I also sometimes check itasoftware.com, but that is not a booking site.) Any opinions on the sites I've listed or on others?
