Reset Your Echo Show. If your Echo device is unresponsive, or you want to erase your device settings, factory reset your device. These steps also work with Echo Spot. Before trying a full device reset, try restarting your device first to resolve most common issues.
To reset your device and keep your smart home connections: Press and hold the Action button for 20 seconds. Wait for the light ring to turn off and on again. Your device enters setup mode. For setup instructions, go to Set Up Your Echo Dot. To reset your device to its factory settings:
