20 Μαΐ 2022 · Imposters are sending fake Amazon text messages to trick you into clicking a link or calling them. You risk having your identity stolen or your accounts being compromised. There are several different versions of Amazon scam messages being circulated.
Third-party sellers are prohibited from sending unsolicited packages to customers. If you receive a package that you did not order and is not a gift, report it immediately. When you receive a package that you didn't order, it may be a scam called "brushing".

They claim there's an issue with delivery and ask the recipient to follow a link to check their account and provide important information. If you click the link in a scam text, it will redirect you to a fake Amazon page.
