For all those who love Echo Lake Camp and the AMC! Founded in 1876, the Appalachian Mountain Club is America's oldest nonprofit conservation and recreation organization. We promote the protection, enjoyment, and wise use of the mountains, rivers, and trails of the Appalachian region.
CAMP LOCATION: Near the south end of Echo Lake in Acadia national park. CAMP FACILITIES: 43 army style tents with cots mattresses and camp supplied bedding. Dinning hall, recreation hall, library, volley ball court, basketball hoop.
