This month will be 6 months after I entered a 12 month Financial Relief Program for a $4.5k balance on my Gold card. The program has been great, I've been making payments of $330 each month, got all my Plan Fees, Annual Fee, and Interest waived, and can continue earning/spending MR as normal.
So in June 2020 I became unable to pay my amex bills, and I got into their "relief" program. I had about $10K in "pay in full" (which I couldn't pay in full) and $10K in "pay over time."

I called and spoke to Customer Service and after a few standard transfers, I made it to the correct dept. I explained my situation and they said I was qualified for the Relief Program. They asked to put me on hold and within a minute the call was canceled (20mins total calltime).
