Taking money out of your 529 plan account won't be difficult. Simply follow these steps. To process a request online, log on to your account, choose Go to my 529 plan account, and then select Withdrawal. Or you can mail us a a completed Withdrawal Request Form.
Complete this form to request a full or partial withdrawal from your New York’s 529 Advisor-Guided College Savings Program (“Advisor-Guided Plan” or “the Plan”) Account. You must submit a separate form for each type of withdrawal you are requesting.

You can call your plan administrator, make a request online, or submit a withdrawal request form. The plan can send withdrawals by check to the account owner, the beneficiary, or the school. You can transfer the money to yourself or the beneficiary electronically and then make payment to the school.
