American River Raft Rentals – Sunrise. 11257 S Bridge St. Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. We are located just off Sunrise Blvd. about 1.5 miles north of US-50 in Rancho Cordova (Fair Oaks exit) From the San Francisco Bay Area, take Interstate 80 East to Sacramento.
The park is divided into two areas, Upper Sunrise and Lower Sunrise. Upper Sunrise has a boat launch, while Lower Sunrise provides fishing, equestrian trails, picnicking and nature walks. Both Upper and Lower Sunrise provide special interests and visitors with ample sights to see.
Much of the lower river is bordered by parks, allowing floaters to pick their starting and endpoints based on the amount of time they'd like to spend on the water. We chose putting in at Sunrise Recreation Area because it's easy to access—just below the Sunrise Blvd bridge—and has plenty of parking.
