The Empire Builder should have the cars in this order: locomotives, baggage car (for checked luggage), sleepers bound for Seattle, the dining car, Seattle-bound coaches, then the Sightseer lounge car, with the coaches/sleepers bound for Portland bringing up the rear.
26 Μαρ 2006 · The Empire Builder uses remanufactured Superliner I cars. The roomettes on these "newer" cars have a more up-to-date blue, white, and wood grain appearance, with newer fabric for seats, curtains and carpet, and they have an enclosed closet.

Car for coach passengers. Main seating is upstairs. Many coaches have lower level seating as well. Some have no lower level seating and instead have a baggage area (coach-baggage car).
On train 7, car 730 is at the front of the train because it is heading to Seattle. At Spokane the last half of the train is removed and becomes train 27 for Portland. On train 28, car 2830 is the last car on the train; at Spokane train 28 is attached to the rear of train 8 for the rest of the trip.
6 Ιαν 2022 · Superliner trains are composed of “Superliner” rail cars — a specific model that has two levels. There are Superliner coach cars, sleeper cars, lounge cars and dining cars (to name a few) that can be combined in different ways depending on the needs of the Amtrak route.
