The amulet of the damned is an amulet that provides extra buffs to Barrows equipment. It can be obtained from silver and gold shade chests found in the Shade Catacombs. The amulet has the same bonuses as an amulet of glory. Like Barrows equipment, it can only be traded when it hasn't been used.

I didn't realize this until a pretty late but - without the teleports - the amulet of the damned has the same stats as the amulet of glory and is rarely mentioned in wiki pvm guides. It's much easier to get as a pretty frequent reward from shades of Mor'ton than 75-80 crafting and a great replacement for the glory until then.

Given how relatively easy it is to acquire an amulet of the Damned, why is it not more commonly used as a BIS as an in between for Power ammy and Glory? It looks like on the wiki it keeps its stats even if it’s used? Is it correct?

An Amulet is a piece of jewellery in Old School RuneScape worn in the neck slot of the Worn Equipment tab. Using the Crafting skill, players can create an amulet by adding a ball of wool to an unstrung amulet.
