15 Ιουν 2023 · AN fittings typically use different colors for male and female types. Red and blue are the most common colors. You can use an AN Sizing chart to match a particular size of AN fitting to the type of hose that will match. The below chart shows how AN size is determined.
AN fittings range in size from -2 (dash two) to -32 in irregular steps that each equates to the outer diameter of the tubing. The outer diameter of the tube or hose that each fitting is to be used for is correlated with the inner diameter of the fitting itself.
AN Fitting Size Guide. You can always identify AN fittings based on the male thread size (outside diameter). These sizes are constant regardless of brand, hose type, or fitting configuration. If your fitting has a convex 37 degree flare at the end, the threads will tell you the AN size (and vice-versa).
