Geb (Ancient Egyptian: gbb, Egyptological pronunciation: Gebeb), also known as Ceb (/ ˈsɛb /, / ˈkɛb /), [a] was the Egyptian god of the Earth [1] and a mythological member of the Ennead of Heliopolis. He could also be considered a father of snakes.
