Dedicated as an Indiana State Nature Preserve in 2004, Anderson Falls is a unique area to the otherwise-flat Bartholomew County, with its steep-walled valleys and waterfall cascading down to its limestone bed.
A forty-four acre park near Hartsville and nine miles east of Columbus, featuring a cascading waterfall (amount of water varies significantly by local rain patterns) and two hiking paths of 1.75 and 2.25 miles.

Check out this 0.8-mile loop trail near Hartsville, Indiana. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 18 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, fishing, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.

The county park and parking area is right across the road from the falls - easy to have good vantage point.
