A nice surprise for this part of the State. The county park and parking area is right across the road from the falls - easy to have good vantage point. Rest rooms are closed, but Port a potty in place. Google maps took us right to it. Worth getting off SR 46 - just five minutes to the falls.

Check out this 0.8-mile loop trail near Hartsville, Indiana. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 18 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, fishing, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.
Dedicated as a State Nature Preserve in 2004, Anderson Falls is a unique area to the otherwise flat Bartholomew County, with its steep-walled valleys and waterfall cascading down to its limestone bed. Anderson Falls is owned and managed by the Bartholomew County Parks Department.
5 Ιουλ 2017 · Anderson Falls is a low, wide waterfall located about 50 miles southwest of Indiana, and 15 miles east of Columbus. Here the Fall Fork of Clifty Creek drops over a 10+ foot high ledge. The falls is located in the Anderson Falls Park/State Nature Preserve.
