  3. A few weeks ago I released my Monster Scaling Tool, a program that can scale a monster's stats up or down to a new CR. However, running mysterious .exe files from the internet isn't a great idea and I didn't like asking people to do that.

  4. Monster Editor - Monstershuffler.com. With this editor you can fully customize monsters and Non-Player Characters (NPCs) for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, and make their statistics dynamic so that their Challenge Rating can be increased or decreased to match the strength of player characters.

  5. This panel shows the stats of the selected monster. Click a monster in the list above. If the list above is empty, add a monster first.

  6. This tool works by looking at the stats entered for a certain monster and comparing them to the average values in the table for a monster of the same CR, calculating a ratio for each one. The tool then looks at the average stat values for a monster of the CR you want to scale it to and multiples them by that ratio.
