Some antibiotics are labeled for cats and have a specific FDA-approved dose to use, but it might still be a different dose or length of time depending on the reason for use.
The ideal and safe dosage of Amoxicillin tablet for cats is 5-10 mg/lb or 10-15 mg/kg, and liquid oral suspension is 2-9 ml/lb every 12-24 hours. However, some veterinarians may prescribe every 8-10 hours.
