28 Ιουν 2021 · From today it’s possible to take a coronavirus test at Antwerp and Ostend-Bruges airports. The airports say that the testing centres are not only open to passengers and anyone that requires a PCR test can use them.
28 Ιουν 2021 · Two new coronavirus test centres have opened at Antwerp and Ostend-Bruges International Airports on Monday to relieve the test centres in the cities from the pressure of travellers this summer.
There is a center in the central station for PCR tests (50€). However, I would not recommend this as you have to wait 24-36 hours for the result, and have to collect the result on spot, and this may be too late for your return journey. Rapid test locations are rare (as for Belgians only PCR tests are required).
29 Ιουν 2021 · To get the free tests you need a code that you can generate by surfing to mijngezondheid.belgie.be. Log in using your ID card or the itsme app. The system will check whether or not you qualify for the test. You can use the code immediately and book your test via the same website.
20 Οκτ 2021 · Belgian health ministers have decided that tourists visiting Belgium or returning to Belgium and who need to get tested will no longer need to take a PCR test for coronavirus. In future a rapid antigen test that you can get at your chemist will suffice.
If there is a Covid test in airport, is it instant results? The Train station pick up in person is no problem. So train is 36 hr turn around so if tested on 8th, could have results late on 9th? Or could make flight on 11th. Prefer PCR over rapid test results. Thanks!
