Many symptoms that are frequently reported as side effects fluctuate contemporaneously with antidepressant treatment in pediatric patients. However, most trials report the presence or absence of these items (e.g., abdominal pain, diarrhea, and headache), which fails to capture their temporal stability/resolution.
