Since 2020, the AIME floor has been set to a higher percentage of scores, likely to ensure that a consistent number of students qualify for AIME each year, rather than a fixed percentage. Usually, 6000-7000 competitors from the AMC 10 and 12 qualify for the AIME.

AIME score. In addition to doing past AIME’s, I also recommend mocks, which are typically harder than a normal AIME. The AIME Problem Series A course is designed for students who are very confident that they will qualify for the AIME contest. This course covers the same level as AIME Problem Series B but with different problems; the two courses can be taken in any order.
