In the reference list, start with the author’s last name and initials, followed by the year. The book title is written in sentence case (only capitalize the first word and any proper nouns).

When using APA format, follow the author-date method of in-text citation. This means that the author's last name and the year of publication for the source should appear in the text, like, for example, (Jones, 1998).
Tips. Authors/Editors. An author won't necessarily be a person's name. it may be an organization or company, for example, Health Canada. These are called group or corporate authors.
