The myAPERS portal is our online tool that you use to perform all your administrative responsibilities including enrolling employees, reporting compensation and service, and paying contributions. myAPERS is conveniently available for you to use at any time and from anywhere.
Created by Act 177 of 1957, the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System (APERS) serves some 60,000 members, retirees, and beneficiaries. APERS is a cost sharing, multiple employer, defined benefit plan. Participating employers include most state agencies, all counties, over 100 municipal entities, and some 325 school districts.

Application. Members can request a refund after their employment has been terminated for 30 days. Employers add a termination date to our records when they report and remit the final member contributions. Members can apply for a refund in two ways: myAPERS Portal. Termination Refund Application.
