The NYC School Bus App is available for families of students who receive bus transportation from the New York City Department of Education, including students at public, non-public, and charter schools.

The School Ridership System is a secure site accessible only to those with OPT/DOE login credentials.

If you are a staff member in a non-public school in New York City, there may be students in your school who receive busing services from New York City Public Schools (NYCPS). Caregivers of those students can track their bus rides in real time through the NYC School Bus Caregiver app .
Students can get transportation to and from school by yellow bus or by using their OMNY card on MTA subways and buses. Eligibility for student transportation is based on several factors, including student's grade, walking distance from the school, and academic program.
