12 Ιαν 2007 · I have an Apollo hydro heat system. I have been getting a lot of flyer's from HVAC contractors saying there is a risk of the coil leaking causing damage. A co-worker that lives in the same development has also been told the same thing by another contractor.
Here's the issue. Her home is heated/cooled with an Apollo system. It's a forced-warm-air system that apparently uses a single water heater to supply hot water for all heat, but uses two separate AC systems to cool the home. She says there are two separate thermostats and two separate compressor/condenser units outside of the home.
The house they are buying appears to come equipped with an “Apollo hydro heating system” and a heat pump. As an auto mechanic, I was naturally interested and looked it up. It appears to be very similar to how a cars heater works, with coolant running through a heater core.
Hey Hodge! I was just wondering what water heater you used to replace the Apollo. I have an Apollo system in my home (I live in Chino Valley) and I'm having trouble finding someone who knows anything about the Apollos. Thanks!
27 Οκτ 2001 · Hello, I have an Apollo Heating System which uses the hot water from the gas water heater to circulate to the units and return a few degrees cooler. The downstairs unit works fine but the upper one simply blows cold air. Any possible suggestions for causes and/or fixes short of calling a specialist? Thank you so much for your time and attention.
https://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/question/apollo-heat-pump-by-mbtek I thought about MBtek and Arctic. I ended up using a Midea/MrCool unit with DIY indoor, refrigerant to water, and refrigerant to air (for AC).
Here are some common issues to consider when troubleshooting: Power supply: Check if the heat pump is receiving power. Ensure that the circuit breaker or fuse dedicated to the heat pump is not tripped or blown. Additionally, confirm that the heat pump is properly plugged in or connected.
