Visit a specialized passport site (Service Canada Centre – Passport Service) that offers urgent pick-up service. If you have a non-urgent travel date and no appointment is available, find a passport service location near you to visit without an appointment.
You can apply online or on paper (in specific situations) for: visitor visas (also known as temporary resident visas) super visas (for parents and grandparents) transit visas; Apply online. Check your VAC's website for information on how to submit your passport or documents to IRCC from outside Canada. Visa application centres (VACs) are private companies that have formal contracts with the Government of Canada.
Complete all relevant forms prior to your appointment and bring required documents with you. To find passport application forms and information about required documents, visit Canadian passports and other travel documents. If your form (s) aren’t complete, we won’t be able to accept them during your appointment.
Submit the completed form with your visa application. Each applicant 18 years or older must complete this form. Documents needed depend on whether a child under 18 years of age will travel with only 1 parent, with a relative or friend or alone. Consult Minor children travelling to Canada. Submit these with your visa application.

If your request is about a dependent child, please use the principal applicant's (that is, the parent's) "Application ID number".
