‘When I Die’ is written by Jalal ad-Din Mohammad Balkhi (1207-1273), famously known as Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi. This poem is about eternal life after death, featuring Rumi’s inspirational views on the afterlife that begins after physical death. Rumi was a Persian poet, Islamic scholar, and also a manuscript writer.
