U-Haul would probably install a standard Draw-Tite hitch which would do the job however may not be pretty. Personally I've purchased and installed quite a number of trailer hitches from the company called www.etrailer.com. 13 Σεπ 2023 · Depending on the car model you have, U-Haul will provide matching trailer hitches you’ll need. Different car makes and models will have different towing equipment needs. A call to your nearest U-Haul branch will help with identifying the kind of equipment you’ll need.
U-Haul hitches are just that, only the hitch - do not recommend hauling more than @ 750lbs on one of those.
I've been looking around for ways to get one, and it turns out that U-Haul offers hitch installation. Has anyone here gotten a trailer hitch installed by U-Haul? I'm wondering if it's a good idea to go with them, or if I should go to an independent mechanic (or just install the hitch myself!).
