Let‘s first understand the primary scam categories active in the Roblox community: Chat-based scams – Scammers engage players directly in chat claiming to offer free Robux, rare items, or other deals in exchange for login credentials or valuable limited items.
I received the following message from a user asking me to follow a YouTube video in order to get the texture for my avatar from a Website. This is a really common scam that's beginning to arise. Do NOT believe users that ask you to use third-party websites to extract your player avatar.
Scammers can exploit security vulnerabilities in Discord and Roblox and by running a Javascipt in your browser after talking with them on Discord, you unknowingly send them their browser cookies. From here they can extract your ROBLOSECURITY code and hijack your account.
