All new applicants must provide verification of an active DPS clearance card or a set of fingerprints on a blue lined FD-258 card with a $40 fee.

To qualify for the LAC license and subsequently full licensure as an LPC you’ll need to complete these basic steps: Earn a qualifying graduate degree in Counseling that includes a qualifying supervised counseling practicum. Pass a qualifying national counseling examination.

27 Σεπ 2021 · The Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (Board) was established in 1988 to establish and maintain standards regarding qualifications, scope of practice and performance for behavioral health professionals for the protection of the public.
Arizona mental health counselors are licensed by the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AzBBHE) as Licensed Professional Counselors, or LPCs. The Arizona LPC is a therapy license; in order to achieve it, counselors must accrue postgraduate experience performing psychotherapy.
